The Sunnyvale Singers presents “Taking Flight”, a concert full of flight-themed pieces. This could mean songs about actual flight, or it could be flight used as a metaphor for starting something new, for singing, or even conducting. Among the selections are “High Flight”, a musical setting of a poem by an early aviator, “Flight Song”, by Kim Andre Arnesan, and Lunar Lullaby, by Jacob Narverud.
